I think it's useless for someone to spend their years in college and waste their
money if they aren't going to use their degree by getting a job that has to deal
with it. It's taking a way jobs that people really need that don't get the
chance to go to college

The Fiscal Cliff is the newest discussion topic with Obama and the Senators.
They need to decide what's going on and when they're going to do it. I think
they need to hurry up and decided what's going on and do it now!

On December 31, 2012 at midnight, the house approved of a bill that would end
last year's temporary payroll tax cuts. At the same time, the spending cuts
agreed upon as part of the debt ceiling deal of 2011 will begin to go into
effect. The Senate version passed two hours after the deadline, and the House of
Representatives approved the deal 21 hours later. The governement techincally
went "over the cliff" since the final details weren't established until after
January 1st. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that current plan
includes $330.3 in new spending during the next ten years, and it will increase
the deficit by $3.9 trillion in that time period despite raising taxes on 77.1%
of U.S. households. The agreement currently on the table raises tax rates to
39.6% from 35% on individual with income of more than $400,000 and on couples
with incomes of more than $450,000. It also lets the 2% payroll tax cut expire
and delays spending cuts for another two months. Unfortunately, the fiscal cliff
isn't the only problem facing the United States right now. At some point in the
first quarter, the country will again hit the "debt ceiling" - the same issue
that roiled the markets in the summer of 2011 and prompted the automatic
spending cuts that make up a portion of the fiscal cliff.

It would be a terrible thing to see from an airplane. You're stuck in the air
watching someone steal things from your trailer. What would you do? You can't
really jump from the plane to save your stuff.
Inaugaration.
This past Sunday was marked the day for Obama to swear in for his second term.
It was a very exciting and cheerful television cast on Monday. Beyonce sang
the star spangled banner. Obama participated in the Inauguration parade.
1.8 million people attended the inauguration in 2008. This year though
only about 800000 people were expected to attend. Obama said that he wanted to
give meaning to our freedom. He called it a privelage to be returning for a
second term. Republicans werent impressed by his inauguration speech. They
criticized it because they said he didnt outreach enough. The president and
the vice president went to a church in front of the White House. Thirteen
thousand military and law officers watched over the procceding Saturday because
of the large number of people attended. Michelle wore a red dress to one
of the balls. It was the 57th inauguration cermemony. During his speech
he says that we are all truly created equal. The presidental inauguration
takes pretty much all day and night. It was actually a week of events. That week
included balls, a parade, and many other things. Obama embraced gay rights
and the fights against climate change. He also states that he will reduce the
federal deficit without shredding the social safety net. He was sworn in by
Chief Justice John Roberts.

I think that is soo mean. it's ridiculous. if someone is gay that doesn't mean they should be excluded from groups.

I think that every state is different and most states don't want to ban guns. I do think that school safety is better to be taken care of then gun control because thefts and people can still get ahold of guns even if they are banned, and what about all the guns out there that arent being tracked....

i don't think that it is that big of a deal. It's a lisence plate. Not everyone has the same opinion and if he wants to put that liscence plate on there, than that's his own.

I believe Hillary Clinton would make a very good president. I also believe that when it came to
someone knowing what they were talking about she would be a good candiate for
it.

I agree with Manchin. The ban should be approved to protect all children, and
not only children. You can't prevent such a tragedy from happening, because
people are going to do it anyways.
